TRANSCRIPTIONAL REGULATION OF HOST DEFENSE BY NHR'S
Nuclear hormone receptors can regulate host immune genes upon infection. I am trying to elucidate the pathways involved in such responses during S. aureus infection in C. elegans.
PATHOGENIC SIGNAL DETECTED BY THE HOSTÂ TO TRIGGER ANÂ IMMUNE RESPONSE
Using a single deletion transposon mutant library of S. aureus , I am trying to identify the bacterial genes required to trigger host defense in C. elegans.
